His ship, the Lion, and the surrounding docks, are easy places to find him. He's also frequently about town, surveying Kirkwall, spending time at various pubs, occasionally gambling. Notably, he seems to avoid brothels. In general, he isn't at the Gallows more than absolutely necessary.

Likewise, if you know where Anne is, Jack might not be with her, but it's likely she'll know where to find him. Not that there's any guarantee she'll tell you.

If you really, really can't find him, he's probably on the toilet.

Reputation

If you keep up with piratey rumors, you may have heard of the time when Calico Jack Rackham stole outsmarted Captain Flint to steal a load of treasure. Ask him about it sometime.

He spends a lot of time with Anne Bonny, and people are free to assume what they will about the nature of that relationship, but the fact remains: they're infrequently seen apart.

Hooks

Piracy, obviously. Jack isn't the heavy raiding type of pirate so much as a tactician with an eye for smuggling and easy marks. He hedges his bets.

He's also invested in, well, investing. He isn't one to make money and spend it and then go and make more money. He has savings, he makes wise investments, and is proooobably looking to buy into a business or two in Kirkwall.

He's looking to get a crew together to continue some low-stakes piracy, fun fun.
